JDF Springclean is a detailed whole-home cleaning service designed for occupied or furnished homes that need more attention than a Regular Home Clean. It is ideal for periodic deep cleaning, seasonal resets, homes with accumulated build-up, or preparing a home to begin ongoing Regular Home Cleaning.

Unlike Regular Home Cleaning, Springclean includes additional detailed cleaning throughout the home, including high dusting, ceiling fans, doors and frames, and wall spot cleaning.

CEILING FANS

Ceiling fan cleaning is included as part of your Springclean.

Safely accessible fan blades and accessible external surfaces are cleaned to remove ordinary household dust and build-up.

HIGH DUSTING

High dusting is included as part of your Springclean where areas can be safely accessed using our normal cleaning equipment.

This may include accessible upper ledges, high surfaces and cobweb removal.

Areas requiring specialist access equipment or presenting an access or safety risk are not included.

DOORS & FRAMES

Detailed cleaning of accessible doors and frames is included in your Springclean.

This covers ordinary household dust, marks and build-up that can reasonably be removed through cleaning.

WALL SPOT CLEANING

Spot cleaning of ordinary marks on accessible walls is included where required.

This is intended for individual marks and spots rather than full wall washing.

Extensive wall cleaning or whole walls requiring detailed cleaning may be quoted separately.

DETAILED SKIRTING BOARDS

Normal incidental attention to accessible skirting boards forms part of the general cleaning process.

A dedicated Detailed Skirting Boards Throughout service is available as an optional add-on when your skirting boards require a more thorough, whole-home detail.

The fixed price is calculated according to the size of your property.

LIGHT FITTINGS

Detailed light fitting cleaning is not automatically included in the Springclean base service.

Light Fitting Detail can be added for $7 per fitting where the fitting can be safely and appropriately cleaned.

INTERNAL CUPBOARDS, DRAWERS & STORAGE

Cleaning inside cupboards, drawers, wardrobes and linen cupboards is optional with Springclean.

Storage areas must be empty and reasonably accessible before we arrive.

Pricing depends on the amount and size of the storage requiring cleaning.

Our service does not include removing, sorting, organising or replacing personal belongings.

WINDOWS & GLASS

Internal and external window cleaning is not automatically included in the Springclean base price.

Window panes, sliding-glass door panels and tracks can be added where required and are priced according to the type, size, quantity and sides being cleaned.

External glass is only offered where it can be safely accessed.

BLINDS & SHUTTERS

Detailed blind or shutter cleaning is available as an optional add-on.

Standard fixed pricing assumes ordinary domestic appliances in typical cleanable condition.

Unusually large appliances, double ovens, excessive grease, significant burnt-on residue or other non-standard conditions may require assessment and an adjusted fixed price.

WHAT CONDITION IS SPRINGCLEAN DESIGNED FOR?

Springclean is designed for ordinary household build-up that requires a more detailed clean than ongoing maintenance cleaning.

This may include accumulated dust, everyday marks, soap residue, routine kitchen grease and areas that have not received detailed attention for some time.

It is not a restoration or specialist cleaning service.

Heavy contamination, extensive mould, excessive grease, unsafe conditions or other unusually intensive cleaning requirements may require an assessment or may fall outside the services JDF provides.

HOW MUCH DOES SPRINGCLEAN COST?

Springclean uses fixed pricing based on your property's size and agreed cleaning scope.

Fixed pricing starts from $235 for a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom home.

Your exact fixed price is confirmed before booking.

Optional add-ons, additional areas, exclusions and non-standard requirements are taken into account when establishing your final cleaning scope and fixed price.

IS THE PRICE BASED ON HOW LONG THE CLEAN TAKES?

No.

JDF uses fixed pricing based on your agreed Springclean scope.

The duration allocated to your appointment allows us to schedule the service appropriately. The actual time required can vary depending on the home and whether one cleaner or a cleaning team attends.

Your agreed fixed price is not determined by how long the clean ultimately takes.

When should I choose a Springclean instead of Regular Home Cleaning?

Regular Home Cleaning is designed to maintain a home that is already at a reasonable cleaning standard.

Springclean is more suitable when your home needs a deeper reset, has accumulated dust or household build-up, hasn't been professionally cleaned for some time, or needs detailed attention before beginning ongoing Regular Home Cleaning.

What is included in a Springclean?

Your standard Springclean generally includes:

• Detailed dusting and wiping of accessible surfaces

• High dusting of safely accessible areas

• Accessible cobweb removal

• Ceiling fan cleaning

• Detailed kitchen cleaning

• Detailed bathroom and toilet cleaning

• Laundry area cleaning

• Doors and frames

Are ceiling fans included?

Yes.

Cleaning safely accessible ceiling fans is included as part of your standard Springclean.

This covers ordinary household dust and build-up on accessible fan blades and external surfaces.

Is high dusting included?

Yes.

High dusting of safely accessible areas is included.

This may include accessible upper ledges, high surfaces and cobweb removal.

Detailed light fitting cleaning is optional with Springclean.

Light Fitting Detail can be added for $7 per fitting where the fitting can be safely and appropriately cleaned.

Is wall cleaning included?

Ordinary wall spot cleaning is included where required.

This is intended for individual marks and spots rather than detailed cleaning of entire walls.

Detailed Wall Cleaning can be added for $25 per standard wall or area.

Large walls, extensive marking or whole-home wall cleaning may require an assessment and individual fixed quote.

Are inside cupboards and drawers included?

No. Cleaning inside cupboards and drawers is optional with Springclean.

If you'd like internal cabinetry cleaned, it can be added to your quote according to the amount and size of the cabinetry.

Cupboards and drawers must be empty and reasonably accessible before we arrive.

Are wardrobes and linen cupboards included?

Cleaning inside wardrobes, linen cupboards and other internal storage is optional.

Pricing depends on the size and amount of storage requiring cleaning.

Storage must be empty and reasonably accessible. Our service doesn't include removing, sorting, organising or replacing personal belongings.

Is oven cleaning included?

No.

Oven Interior Detail is an optional Springclean add-on and can be added for $90.

Standard pricing assumes an ordinary domestic oven in typical cleanable condition. Unusually large or double ovens, excessive grease or significant burnt-on residue may require assessment and an adjusted fixed price.

Is rangehood cleaning included?

Detailed rangehood and filter cleaning is optional and can be added for $55.

Your standard Springclean kitchen service does not automatically include a detailed rangehood service.

Can you clean inside the fridge?

Yes.

Inside Fridge Cleaning can be added for $45 for an emptied standard domestic refrigerator.

The fridge should be emptied before we arrive.

Are windows included?

Window cleaning is not automatically included in the standard Springclean price.

Internal window panes, sliding-glass door panels and tracks can be added where required. External glass cleaning may also be available where it can be safely accessed.

Pricing depends on the type, size, quantity and sides of glass being cleaned.

Can you clean blinds or shutters?

Yes.

Do I need to supply cleaning products or equipment?

No.

JDF supplies the cleaning products and equipment required for your booked Springclean.

If you would prefer us to use a particular product in your home, please discuss this with us before your service.

Do I need to be home?

No.

You can be home during your Springclean, or we can arrange an agreed method of access.

Please make sure we can access the property and all areas included in your cleaning scope at the scheduled time.

Any keys, gates, building access requirements, parking restrictions, alarms or other access instructions should be provided beforehand.

How should I prepare for my Springclean?

There's no need to clean before we arrive.

To help us focus our time on detailed cleaning, we ask that you:

• Pick up loose personal belongings where practical

• Keep the areas being cleaned reasonably accessible

• Clear excessive items from benches and surfaces where possible

• Make sure kitchen and bathroom areas can be accessed

• Empty any cupboards, drawers or wardrobes you've booked for internal cleaning

• Let us know about pets or access considerations

• Tell us about any particular areas of concern before your service

What if I want to add something after I've booked?

Please contact us before your scheduled service whenever possible.

Additional tasks may require extra cleaning capacity and an adjustment to your fixed price. We can't guarantee that additional work requested on the day can be completed within the existing booking.

What if my home needs more cleaning than expected?

Please provide accurate information about the condition of your home when requesting your quote.

Springclean is designed for ordinary household build-up. Significant contamination, excessive grease, extensive mould, restoration-type cleaning or unsafe conditions may require assessment or may fall outside the services JDF provides.

If the condition or required work is materially different from the information used to prepare your quote, we'll discuss the available options with you before completing work outside the agreed scope.

Will every mark or stain come off?

Not necessarily.

Cleaning can improve removable dirt, residue and ordinary household marks, but some staining, permanent marks, surface deterioration, paint damage, discolouration or other defects may not be removable through cleaning.

We don't guarantee removal where the condition is permanent or the surface cannot safely withstand further cleaning.

Can I book a Springclean before starting Regular Home Cleaning?

Yes.

A Springclean can be an ideal starting point if your home needs detailed attention before moving onto an ongoing maintenance schedule.

Once the home has been brought to a suitable standard, Regular Home Cleaning can then focus on keeping it consistently fresh, clean and comfortable.

How often should I have a Springclean?

There isn't a required frequency.

Some customers use Springclean as a periodic or seasonal reset, while others book one when their home needs more detailed attention than their normal cleaning routine provides.

If you have ongoing Regular Home Cleaning, a Springclean can also be booked when you want additional whole-home detail beyond your regular maintenance scope.
