Storage areas must be empty and reasonably accessible for cleaning.

Our service does not include removing, sorting, organising or replacing personal belongings.

OVEN & RANGEHOOD

Oven interior and rangehood cleaning are included as standard in your Bond Cleaning service.

This includes:

• Oven interior

• Accessible oven surfaces

• Standard removable oven components where appropriate

• Rangehood exterior

• Accessible rangehood surfaces

• Accessible rangehood filters

Unusually large appliances, excessive grease, significant burnt-on residue, damaged appliances or specialist/restoration requirements may require assessment.

INTERNAL WINDOWS, SILLS & TRACKS

Internal window cleaning is included as standard in your Bond Cleaning service.

This includes:

• Accessible internal window glass

• Accessible window sills

• Accessible window tracks

• Routine cleaning of applicable internal window areas

External/outside window cleaning is not included in the standard Bond Cleaning price and can be added where offered and safely accessible.

Oversized, feature or unusually difficult glass may require assessment.

SLIDING GLASS DOORS & TRACKS

Applicable accessible internal sliding-glass door surfaces and routine track cleaning are included where they form part of the property's standard internal Bond Cleaning scope.

External glass may be quoted separately.

Track cleaning covers accessible track channels and does not include dismantling doors, removing panels, corrosion restoration or specialist remediation.

BLINDS & SHUTTERS

Basic cleaning of accessible blinds and shutters is included as part of the standard Bond Cleaning service.

This covers ordinary household dust and routine cleanable build-up.

Detailed cleaning of heavily soiled, complex or unusually extensive blinds may require an additional fixed quote.

WALLS

Wall spot cleaning is included as standard.

This covers ordinary individual marks and spots that can reasonably and safely be cleaned.

Detailed cleaning of entire walls is not automatically included.

Detailed Wall Cleaning is available from $25 per standard wall or area.

Extensive wall cleaning, large walls or whole-property wall washing may require an assessment and individual fixed quote.

GARAGE, DECK & BALCONY AREAS

Where applicable, ordinary light sweeping and accessible cobweb removal may form part of the standard Bond Cleaning presentation.

Detailed cleaning can be added for:

• Garage Detail — from $25 per area

• Deck Detail — from $25 per area

• Balcony Detail — from $25 per area

Heavy build-up, large areas, oil staining, restoration work or unusually extensive cleaning may require assessment and an adjusted fixed quote.

DOES THE PROPERTY NEED TO BE EMPTY?

Bond Cleaning is designed for an empty or vacated property.

Personal belongings should be removed before the service wherever possible so we can properly access floors, surfaces, cupboards, wardrobes and other areas included in the cleaning scope.

If belongings or furniture will remain at the property, please let us know before your quote is confirmed.

AGENT OR PROPERTY MANAGER CHECKLISTS

If your property manager or agent has provided an end-of-tenancy cleaning checklist, you're welcome to send it to us before your service.

We'll review the checklist against your agreed Bond Cleaning scope and identify any additional requirements that need to be discussed or quoted separately.

HOW MUCH DOES BOND CLEANING COST?

JDF Bond Cleaning uses fixed pricing based on your property's size and agreed cleaning scope.

Fixed pricing starts from $375 for a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom property.

Your exact fixed price is confirmed before booking.

Additional areas, optional services, unusual property features, property condition or requirements outside the standard Bond Cleaning scope may affect the final fixed price.

IS THE PRICE BASED ON HOW LONG THE CLEAN TAKES?

No.

JDF uses fixed pricing based on your agreed Bond Cleaning scope.

The duration allocated to your appointment allows us to schedule the service appropriately. The actual time required may vary depending on the property and whether one cleaner or a cleaning team attends.

Your agreed fixed price is not determined by how long the clean ultimately takes.

DOES BOND CLEANING GUARANTEE MY BOND WILL BE RETURNED?

No cleaning company can guarantee the return of a rental bond because the final bond decision can involve matters outside the cleaning service.

This can include property damage, maintenance issues, rent or tenancy matters, permanent staining, deterioration, pre-existing conditions and requirements outside the agreed cleaning scope.

JDF's responsibility is to complete the agreed Bond Cleaning scope to the applicable cleaning standard.

WHAT IF THE PROPERTY NEEDS MORE WORK THAN EXPECTED?

Please provide accurate information about the size, condition and requirements of the property when requesting your quote.

If the property has excessive grease, significant build-up, extensive wall cleaning requirements, mould, unusually extensive storage, difficult access or other conditions materially outside the standard scope, additional assessment may be required.

If we arrive and find that the property or required work is materially different from the information used to prepare your quote, we'll discuss the available options with you before completing work outside the agreed scope.

Bond Cleaning is our detailed end-of-tenancy cleaning service for empty or vacated rental properties.

It is designed to prepare the property for handover and final inspection, with a comprehensive cleaning scope that includes many detailed tasks not included as standard in our other cleaning services.

When should I book my Bond Clean?

Your Bond Clean should ideally be completed after your furniture, belongings and rubbish have been removed and before your final inspection or key-return deadline.

This gives us clear access to floors, surfaces, cupboards, wardrobes, windows and other areas included in your cleaning scope.

Please allow enough time between your cleaning appointment and your required property handover.

Does the property need to be empty?

Bond Cleaning is designed for an empty or vacated property.

Personal belongings, furniture and rubbish should be removed wherever possible before we arrive.

If anything will remain at the property, please let us know before your quote is confirmed so we can determine what areas will be accessible.

What is included in a Bond Clean?

Your standard Bond Cleaning service generally includes:

Cupboards and drawers must be empty and reasonably accessible.

Are wardrobes and linen cupboards included?

Yes.

Accessible empty built-in wardrobes, linen cupboards and other applicable built-in storage are included.

Storage areas must be empty before we arrive.

Our service does not include removing, sorting, organising or replacing personal belongings.

Is oven cleaning included?

Yes.

Oven interior cleaning is included as standard in your Bond Clean.

This includes the oven interior, accessible oven surfaces and standard removable components where appropriate.

Unusually large appliances, excessive grease, significant burnt-on residue, damage or restoration-type requirements may require further assessment.

Is rangehood cleaning included?

Yes.

Rangehood cleaning and accessible rangehood filters are included as part of the standard Bond Cleaning service.

Can you clean inside the fridge?

Yes, but cleaning inside the refrigerator is not automatically included.

Inside Fridge Cleaning can be added for $45 for an emptied standard domestic refrigerator.

The fridge should be emptied before we arrive.

Are internal windows included?

Yes.

Accessible internal window glass, sills and tracks are included as standard in your Bond Cleaning service.

This is an important difference between Bond Cleaning and our other cleaning services.

Are external windows included?

No.

External or outside window cleaning is not included in the standard Bond Cleaning price.

External glass cleaning may be added where offered and where the glass can be safely accessed.

Are sliding glass doors and tracks included?

Your agreed fixed price doesn't change simply because the service is completed faster or takes longer than the scheduled duration.

Do I need to supply cleaning products or equipment?

No.

JDF supplies the cleaning products and equipment required for your booked Bond Clean.

If there are specific products or surface-care requirements at the property, please tell us before your service.

Do I need to be at the property during the clean?

No.

You can be present, or we can arrange an agreed method of access.

Please make sure we can access the property and all areas included in your cleaning scope at the scheduled time.

Any keys, gates, apartment access, lifts, parking restrictions, security procedures or other access instructions should be provided beforehand.

How should I prepare for my Bond Clean?

Before we arrive, please:

• Remove furniture and personal belongings wherever possible

• Remove rubbish from the property

• Empty cupboards, drawers, wardrobes and storage areas

• Empty the refrigerator if you've booked inside fridge cleaning

• Make sure electricity and water remain connected

• Make sure all agreed areas are accessible

• Provide keys, building access and parking information beforehand

• Send us your agent or property manager's checklist if you have one

• Tell us about any damage, significant staining, mould, heavy build-up or unusual cleaning requirements before your service

Do electricity and water need to remain connected?

Yes.

Electricity and running water should remain available for the Bond Cleaning service.

If utilities will be disconnected before the clean, please let us know before booking as this may affect our ability to complete the agreed work.

What if I want to add something after I've booked?

Please contact us as early as possible.

Additional tasks may require extra cleaning capacity and an adjustment to your fixed price.

We can't guarantee that additional work requested on the day can be completed within the existing booking.

What if the property is much dirtier than expected?

Please provide accurate information about the property's condition when requesting your quote.

Excessive grease, significant build-up, extensive wall cleaning, mould, unusually extensive storage, difficult access or other non-standard conditions may materially change the work required.

If the property is materially different from the information used to prepare your quote, we'll discuss the available options with you before completing work outside the agreed scope.

Does Bond Cleaning guarantee that I'll receive my bond back?

No.

JDF can complete the agreed cleaning scope, but the return of your rental bond is not determined by cleaning alone.

Bond decisions can involve property damage, maintenance issues, permanent staining, deterioration, tenancy matters, pre-existing conditions and requirements outside the agreed cleaning scope.

For this reason, JDF does not guarantee the return of your bond.

Will every stain, mark or damaged area be removed?

Not necessarily.

Cleaning can remove cleanable dirt, residue and ordinary household marks, but permanent staining, paint damage, deterioration, corrosion, discolouration, damaged surfaces and other defects may not be removable through cleaning.

We won't use a cleaning method that we consider likely to cause unreasonable damage to the surface.

What happens if my agent identifies a cleaning concern after the service?

Please contact JDF as soon as possible and provide details of the specific cleaning concern.

We'll review the concern against your confirmed Bond Cleaning scope and the condition of the relevant area.

Where the concern relates to cleaning that formed part of the agreed service, it will be handled in accordance with JDF's applicable quality and re-clean conditions.

What's the difference between Bond Cleaning and Move-In Cleaning?

Bond Cleaning is designed for a vacated rental property at the end of a tenancy and has a more extensive inspection-focused standard scope.

Move-In Cleaning is designed to give an empty or mostly empty home a thorough refresh before the new occupants move in.

Bond Cleaning includes several detailed tasks as standard—such as oven and rangehood cleaning, internal windows and tracks, light fittings, detailed skirting boards and basic blind cleaning—that are optional or treated differently under Move-In Cleaning.
